- 200 g Strawberries
- 180 g Plain Low Fat Yoghurt (opt for fat free to reduce fat content)
- 5 ml Unsweetened Lemon Juice
- 10 g / 1 full Teaspoon Honey
Method:
- Prepare the strawberries (wash, cut stems off, cut into pieces)
- Freeze the strawberries until frozen
- Blend the strawberries in a blender
- Add in the honey and lemon juice
- Dump in or add the yoghurt gradually
- Freeze again if it is too runny
- Serve while it is still frozen
Notes:
- Make it lower carbs by substituting the honey for sweetener
- Use fat free yoghurt to lower fat content or use Greek yoghurt to increase the protein
- The texture will depend on the type of yoghurt you use
- Adjust the ingredients until you find the perfect taste and texture
