I went on holiday for a little more than a week: NO exercise and NO tracking my intake. I didn’t eat nearly enough food during this time and was way under all 3 macronutrients. I didn’t feel hungry and ate like 2 meals a day with a snack or 2 in between. After this holiday, I ended up losing 3.3 kg’s and could feel a difference on my body. I’ll slowly start tracking my food loosely for the remainder of December and will start tracking more strictly in January. During my time away, I enjoyed treats daily, whether it was ice cream, frozen yoghurt or chocolates. I also didn’t miss the gym at all; I enjoyed my time being completely off and just relaxing! I did not follow any set macros and did not even track!
This will be the last entry for my reverse diet / bulking. I will no longer be posting updates on this section of the blog. A "cutting" section might be added to my website sometime. For now, I will continue to maintain my weight and no longer increase my numbers.

Your photos and comments regarding your reverse diet have been so helpful! I'm attempting to reboot my metabolism after years of chronic dieting and overexercising and must admit, that after ~6 weeks into eating way more than I ever have before and seeing the scale creeping upwards so quickly, I've been a bit discouraged. I know it'll be worth it in the end though and I'm trying to look on the positive side at all the benefits I've gained by eating more - better sleep, no worries about eating out with friends, super fast hair growth. Thank you SO much for tracking your progress over the year and sharing!

Thank you so much! I'm glad I could have been of help. It's great that you are attempting to reboot your metabolism after years of heavy dieting, the benefits are amazing. I'm glad you've seen improvement in some areas as well. But it is a mental game, we don't like to see the number on the scale creeping up and we don't want our clothes to become snug... but it really is worth it in the end!

I stumbled upon your website a couple of days ago and landed on a page you posted at about August 2014 and thought, this chick looks alright. It's great that she is posting regular HONEST updates wearing the same thing with the same poses. It's great to see no 'fluff' by changing clothes and positions every time. Well done for that.

Thank you so much for taking the time to go through my blog and also taking the time to comment =) I'm all about showcasing my journey as honestly as I can. Thank you so so much for the lovely words and I appreciate your feedback. You definitely do not have to eat 1300 calories with hours of cardio!! I do appreciate your opinion and the only reason I stopped my reverse diet was because I simply could not fit in more food and had a hard time hitting my high targets lol. But I have started my reverse diet again a week or so ago. I thank you again for your lovely comment and your kind words =)
